About This Recipe

Spirulina is one of the most studied superfoods in nutrition science — a blue-green algae with exceptional protein content, B vitamins, and antioxidant pigments. Combined with tropical pineapple and creamy banana, it creates a smoothie that tastes like a holiday while fuelling your body with extraordinary nutrition. The coconut water provides natural electrolytes for hydration.

    Add liquids first

    Pour coconut water into the blender first — this helps the blades move freely and prevents air pockets.

    Add remaining ingredients

    Add spinach, spirulina, frozen pineapple, frozen banana, ginger, and lime juice.

    Blend until smooth

    Blend on high for 60–90 seconds until completely smooth and vibrant green. Add a splash more coconut water if too thick.

    Serve immediately
